User ID Maintenance

Anyone who is interested in bidding on an CTC-OIS opportunity must first register with the CTC-OIS LSI to receive a user ID and password. The user ID provides access to restricted sensitive data, including Program Documents, Work In Progress documents, and BIA-specific documents. Since a user ID may be shared among employees within a company and multiple concurrent logins per user ID are allowed, only one registration form per company will be accepted. After successful registration, the user ID and password will be sent to the company point of contact (POC) e-mail address entered on the registration form.

User ID Security Guidelines:

  • The company POC entered on the registration form will be responsible for controlling their company’s use of the user ID, controlling access to restricted data, and maintaining the password.
  • Under no circumstances should the company POC share the user ID with another company, even if they are teammates on a BIA.
  • On teaming arrangements, the lead company is granted access to BIA-specific information while participating in a BIA. The lead company may request that access be granted to their teammates by sending an e-mail message to the Webmaster. In order for teammates to be granted access, they must be registered with the LSI.
  • When finished with accessing the restricted areas of the Web site, users must logoff by closing all corresponding window browser sessions.

Password Security Guidelines:

  • Passwords should be reset a minimum of once every 64 days.
  • Passwords must be safeguarded and protected. Writing down passwords is not an acceptable practice. However, if a password must be written down, the information must be stored securely.

To access restricted data:

When accessing a document that resides in a restricted area, you will be prompted for information in the following window:

Enter the user ID in the "Login name" box and enter the password in the "Password" box (these are case-sensitive). Then click on the "Login" button. This "Login" window will appear only once per window browser session.

To reset your password:

Your company’s registered POC is responsible for password maintenance according to the security guidelines stated above. If you forget your password, contact the registered POC.

If you are the registered POC and want to reset your password, click on "I forgot my password” in the initial "Login" window and you will be prompted for information in the following window:

Enter the user ID in the "Username" box (this is case-sensitive), then click on the "Send new password" button. The new password will be sent to the e-mail address of the registered POC in a message entitled "Your new SiteScape Forum password is enclosed". Please note that the capability to choose your new password or change an existing password is not available to CTC-OIS users. New passwords are randomly generated according to security guidelines.
